Requirements

  • Experience: 1 Year
  • Required Certifications & Skills
    • Skills: Pediatric CVICU, Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Congenital Heart Disease/Repair, Hemodynamic monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Post cardiac surgery, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Management of gastric tubes, NG tube insertion/ management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Administration of blood & blood products, Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Continuous Sedation, IV vasopressors, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Management of Chest Tubes, Assist/manage intubation, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, Care/maintenance of acute airway, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Suctioning (ETT, NT), Tracheostomy care, Ventilator Management, Urinary catheter insertion/management, Infection control/PPE
    • Certifications: BLS, PALS
    • Previous Charge Nurse Experience: Preferred
